The pigments used by the surgeon are safe pigments, designed specifically for keratopigmentation.
These pigments are approved by French institutions (in particular the Agence Nationale de Sécurité des Médicaments et des Produits de Santé) and by European health safety authorities.
They come in a variety of colors: blue, green, grey-blue, grey-green and brown. The choice of color is made during the pre-operative consultation.
